Marcelo Munaretto

Professional journey

He began his career in design and visual communication and expanded into organizational and public policy management.

Between 2005 and 2016, he held the positions of Director, Superintendent and Municipal Secretary of Food Supply at Curitiba City Hall. He also chaired governance bodies related to food and nutrition security.

Since 2017, he has focused on business consulting, leading projects in leadership, organizational culture, assessment, People Analytics, executive coaching, mentoring and management training.

Education and certifications

• Degree in Industrial Design, with an emphasis on Visual Communication, from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR).
• Additional training in Business Communication and Higher Education Teaching.
• Additional training in People Management, Careers and Coaching.
• National and international certifications in behavioral analysis, assessment, coaching and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).

International work and contributions

He represented Curitiba in the international C40 network in 2015 and 2016, participating in initiatives with governments, organizations and companies from different countries. His work was associated with Curitiba's recognition at the 2016 C40 City Awards in the Sustainable Communities category.

He contributed to Brazil's second National Food and Nutrition Security Plan and the first regional economic, social and rural development plan for central Colombia.

As a representative of public administration in Curitiba, he spoke at international events in seven countries across Europe and the Americas.

Publication

He co-authored the book Estado, Planejamento e Administração Pública no Brasil, contributing a chapter about his public management experience.
